Before any other description of the piece, I have to mention that the garnet in this necklace is the BEST THERE IS~

The gems have such a brilliant luster giving them an almost wet like appearance and the clarity is just outstanding which is rare for garnet of this size. The color is reminiscent of incredibly rich burgundy velvet.

Checkered faceted coins of the finest burgundy garnet along with roundels of the same quality and accents of lovely Balinese silver are meticulously hand coiled with sterling wire, all of which lead to a stunning focal of solid silver medallion pendant with lovely detailing at a size of 1.25" in diameter.

The 18.5" one of a kind necklace is finished with a lovely Balinese silver heart shape toggle closure. Matching earrings shown, is sold separately.
